Characteristics

An adult was recorded once by the survey at Sharp Island, but speculated to have been artificially introduced.
Tends algae farms and mainly feeds on algae, but also feeds on plankton.

Description

Adults:

Head and body brown with blue dots mainly on back.
Caudal peduncle and caudal fin white to tan.

Juveniles:

Body greenish yellow with numerous blue dots.
A black spot on back.
