Often observed singly, resting on sandy bottoms or boulders.

Description
Body appears translucent with pearly-white colouration.
Reddish-brown spots all over body, top of head and on tail.
A prominent dark brown to blackish stripe begins above pectoral fin bases which extends through the eyes and joins between eyes eventually, resembling spectacles.
