  • Occurs singly, but also forms groups.
  • Feeds on small crustaceans and small fishes.


  • Body pale green to white with horizontal pink stripes, and 5 to 6 black saddles which gradually become smaller towards tail.
  • Head greenish with horizontal pink bands.
