Characteristics

Usually forms schools.
A group with more than 100 individuals was once recorded in Hong Kong.

Description

Dorsally greyish green. Ventrally white to silvery.
A black blotch on the edge of gill cover.
Caudal peduncle and caudal fins yellow.
