Pacific double-saddle butterflyfish

Characteristics

Recorded singly, in pairs or in small groups.
Mainly feeds on corals, and occasionally feeds on small invertebrates and tiny preys in coral rubble and sand.

Description

Body mainly whitish, but posterior yellowish.
Two thick vertical dark bands and numerous thin vertical dark lines on body.
Another vertical dark bar crosses through eye and a dark blotch on caudal peduncle.
