Characteristics

Elsewhere, occurs singly or in groups.
An adult was recorded once at Sharp Island during the survey, suspected to have been artificially introduced.

Description

Body yellowish brown to bluish grey.
A white patch extending from eye and along sides of snout.
Dorsal fin black, but orange posteriorly. Anal fin black throughout.
Caudal fin whitish to bluish grey. A vertical, yellow stripe sometimes visible mid-fin.
