Characteristics

Toxic species. Anadromous species – adults live in the sea, but migrate to rivers for reproduction during spawning season.

Description

  • Body green. White ventrally.
  • A black blotch on each side of the body near the dorsal side, connected by a black band. The pattern is outlined by an orange margin. A smaller black blotch with orange margin at dorsal fin base.
