Blue hana goby

Characteristics

Alert and stays away from divers. Often recorded in pairs, and sharing the same borrow. May also share the same borrow with other borrow-dwelling gobies and their symbiotic shrimps.

Description

  • Body light blue to light grey-blue.
  • In adults, 2 to 6 elongated filaments extend from the tail.
  • Median barbels on chin visible close-up.
