Blue and gold fusilier


Usually occurs in singly in Hong Kong, but occurs in schools elsewhere, and may mix with other fusiliers. Relatively strong swimmer and tends to swim away from divers.


  • Body silvery blue to green.
  • Upper and lower lobes of caudal fin possess a black streak.
  • A blue-margined yellow stripe extends from head and joins the black streak of upper caudal lobe.
  • Pectoral fin base with a black spot.
