Bigeye trevally


Usually occurs in small schools of around or fewer than 10 individuals. Feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.


  • Body silvery and bluish green dorsally.
  • A small black dot on the upper edge of gill cover.
  • Second dorsal fin with white tip.
  • Caudal fin black to yellowish.
  • Juveniles possess several dusky vertical bars on body.
