警覺性甚高，並會遠離潛水員。通常一對出沒並居住在同一洞穴中。有時亦會與蝦虎魚及其共生蝦共享同一洞穴。

描述

魚身淺藍色至淺灰藍色。
成魚的尾部有兩至六條絲狀伸廷。
下巴有數條觸鬚
