三紋蝴蝶魚

生態

通常單獨或一對出沒。 領域性的一夫多妻制品種。有研究顯示在滿月或新月的黃昏時,雄魚會與在其 領域中的雌魚交配。 主要以石珊瑚為食,特別是鹿角珊瑚 (Acropora spp.)。

描述

  • 魚身白色並較其它蝴蝶魚長。
  • 身體兩側有橫向「V」狀黑色紋,並有一垂直黑帶穿過眼睛。
  • 成魚的尾部黑色而尾巴邊緣為黃色;幼魚尾部黃色的比例較多。
  • 在晚上,魚身會有兩個明顯的白斑。
